Hi, I’m Kenna—a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a passion for dermatology. 

My journey into this field is personal: after navigating my own skin health challenges, I know how transformative the right care can be. 

That experience, combined with my clinical training, fuels my commitment to helping others feel confident in their skin.

I started my career as an emergency department nurse, where I honed my ability to think quickly, act decisively, and care for patients under pressure. 

During my doctoral program, I focused on dermatology every chance I got—rotating through clinics, mastering skin exams, treating medical and cosmetic concerns, and completing a doctoral project on melanoma risk screening. 

Those experiences confirmed what I already knew: dermatology is where my skills and passion truly meet.

Outside of medicine, I’m a go-getter at heart. While in grad school, I built a photography business that grew to 10,000 followers in six months and stayed booked out for years. 

That work sharpened my ability to connect with people, both one-on-one and online—something I now bring to patient care and clinic growth.

At my core, I’m detail-oriented, compassionate, and people-focused. 

Whether I’m performing skin checks, providing cosmetic treatments, or building community online, my goal is always the same: to help patients feel seen, cared for, and confident in their skin.
